Healthcare & Pharma
at JJA
our creative is clean,
but never sterile.
At JJA, we understand the serious nature of the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries, but boring is not in our vocabulary. Creative healthcare advertising CAN be exciting and engaging while adhering to regulations and legal requirements.
Our extensive experience with the Jewish community allows us to bring pharmaceutical messaging to a medically active and aware audience. JJA creates campaigns that speak the language of this unique community. Utilizing our understanding of the Jewish calendar, lifecycle events and communal norms enables us to implement media planning that connects to, and is more effective with, that audience.
Sanofi/Genzyme
When Sanofi Genzyme wanted to increase awareness about Gaucher Disease among different segments of the Ashkenazi Jewish community (which has a higher genetic predisposition to the condition), they turned to JJA.
We developed relevant messaging in English and Hebrew that spoke directly to the Haredi Jewish community. This ongoing relationship with Sanofi continues to communicate the symptoms of Gaucher, as well as easy testing and treatment options through print, outdoor and digital advertising.
Shaare Zedek Medical Center
The American Committee for Shaare Zedek, the fundraising wing of the Jerusalem-based hospital, hired JJA to connect the medical center’s ground-breaking technology and research to an American Jewish community known to support Israeli causes.
By highlighting new innovations and new developments at the hospital in relevant Jewish print publications, virtual destinations and on social media, JJA helps keep Shaare Zedek Medical Center top-of-mind for stakeholders.
Sharsheret
Sharsheret, a national breast and ovarian cancer non-profit organization, wanted to increase their visibility and communicate clear messaging, while making sure they are reaching the right target: Jewish singles and families and community stakeholders.
JJA helps Sharsheret in their partnerships with pharmaceutical companies and hospitals include AstraZeneca, Amgen, Myriad, The Basser Center for BRCA and Holy Name Hospital to create appropriate content.
